Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn was born in the United States. She is most famous for her role as Skyler White on the AMC show Breaking Bad for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actress in a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. She played Jean Ward and Martha Bullock, respectively, in The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. The actress fell in love with acting at Preparatory school after which she moved to Ohio with her family in the late 1970s. She was a student at Northwestern University to study theatre and was also a student at the British American Drama Academy. Anna performed in Chicago's theater for many years prior to trying out for film and TV parts. Anna's first major part was Arden as she appeared in Down the Shore. She played in 29 episodes. In addition, she appeared in Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. In fact, it wasn't until the late 1990s when she was cast in the role of The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood in two full seasons. Skyler is her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully was the Deadwood film, and other movies were also starring her. Gunn was also on the stage for David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. The actress starred as the character Numbered Days in a four part audio podcast in 2022. The love story that exists between Walter White and his wife Skyler is usually the main focus of the plot on Breaking Bad with the strained tension in their relationship, and eventually its demise mirroring the same arc of Walter White's last years of life.
